Shipping and Handling Policy

We sell and ship only within the United States. Orders received will normally be processed and shipped within 3 business days.

Products shipped by USPS Priority Mail will include tracking information and will typically arrive within 5 business days, oftentimes in as few as 2-3 business days.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If the product is damaged during shipping, photos must be submitted to XCD Shop by e-mail showing proof of shipment damage for – at our discretion – exchange, refund, or customer-provided repair using replacement parts we supply. Proof of shipment damage includes photos of the complete unit and the shipping damage sustained, and photos of the shipping box and any shipping damage sustained.

Refund Policy

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, unless the item was damaged during shipping. It must also be in the original packaging.

You will be responsible for return shipping costs for returning your item.

  • If we provide you with a prepaid shipping label for your return, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  • If you provide your own shipping label for your return, you may want to consider using a trackable shipping service and/or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

A restocking fee of 15% of the sale price will be deducted from the refund total if the return is due to any reason other than the product was damaged during shipping or arrived defective.

Return Process

DO NOT RETURN YOUR PRODUCT WITHOUT FIRST OBTAINING A RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION (RMA). To obtain an RMA, submit an RMA request using our Contact Us form with the following information:

  • Your full name
  • Your address
  • The reason for the return
  • The serial number of your product. This can be found EITHER:
    • debossed on the backside of the panel below the black lock box consisting of 4 digits (e.g. “Serial #0000”), -OR-
    • labeled on the back side of the lock box battery cover consisting of 2 digits, an “X” or “P”, and 4 digits (e.g. “00X0000”)

If you are approved, then we will send you an RMA number to include with your return.

Once we receive your return, your item will be inspected. If the return complies with the above stated refund policy, a credit – less any applicable restocking fee and/or return shipping costs – will be submitted to your original method of payment typically within 5 business days. Depending on your method of payment, however, the refund may take up to 30 days to process.
